N.Korea denies responsibility for landmine incident

Statement from North attacks allegations of its involvement, suggests flooding moved mines

North Korea on Friday denied burying the landmines in the DMZ that recently caused injuries to two South Korean soldiers patrolling the area.

The statement, published under the byline of the DPRK Committee on National Defense Department of Policy, insisted that there is no clear evidence of the North’s involvement.
