N.Korea calls for tightening bureaucracy, rooting out indolence

After continuous purges, officials are passive to start new initiatives, regime is strengthening their tension

North Korea’s state-run Rodong Sinmun newspaper on Friday underscored the need for “Pyongyang spirit” and “Pyongyang speed” to overcome bureaucratic inefficiency in the Pyongyang City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The article on the third page of Rodong Sinmun suggested that "political work" should be scientific, active and creative.
