Balloon launches halted amid inter-Korean dialogue: Religious group

Seoul's Ministry of Unification previously said it had no power to stop balloon launches, citing freedom of speech

Balloon launches to North Korea have been stopped under South Korea's National Security Law, a religious group that regularly sends bibles to the North told NK News on Tuesday.

Staff from the Voice of the Martyrs Korea found themselves barricaded at their Mapo office for disagreeing with a police order to stop balloon launches to North Korea, as the final day of marathon talks between Seoul and Pyongyang were finishing up on Monday.
