N.Korean athletes succeed in international competition

Diver wins gold at World Aquatics Championships; N.Korean wrestlers medal thanks to concentrated training

North Korean diver Kim Kuk Hyang, 16, won the gold medal at the FINA World Aquatics Championships in Kazan, Russia on Thursday, the North's first gold in this competition.

The medal is the second for Kim, who won the bronze on Monday with her teammate Song Nam Hyang. The two athletes won the silver metal at the Asian Game last year in Inchon.
