British NGO to help N.Korean mothers and disabled children

Providing better nutrition to would-be mothers prioritized, as is helping the disabled meet their potential

British Christian NGO Dura International is planning a project dedicated to prevent disabilities in North Korea, Voice of America (VOA) reported on Thursday.

The project will focus on providing the necessary nutrients for pregnant women and other women in their childbearing years. Pastor Lee Seok-hui, working at Dura International in London stated that it will produce bread and biscuits containing folic acid, iron and vitamins for 5,000 women.
