Russian company considering wind farms for N. Korea

Plans to build 40 megawatt wind farms still under consideration, not greenlit

Russian company RAO Energy Systems of East is considering building wind farms both near and in the DPRK to supply North Korea with electricity, according to a report from energy website Windpowermonthly.com.

While the website reported that the plans were going ahead, NK News has learned the project to build wind farms capable of generating 40 megawatts of power is still under consideration.
