South Korean police officers assigned to monitor newly arrived refugees help out, but sometimes cause problems

When North Korean defectors arrive in South Korea, they are led to Hanawon, an organization under the Ministry of Unification dedicated to preparing them for their adjustment.

When the course is complete after three months, they can then start new life in South Korean society.
