N.Korean defectors policy needs reform: Korea Hana Foundation

The government policy should be more efficient to increase responsibility of defectors

Chung Ok-nim, president of Korea Hana Foundation on Thursday stated that the South Korean policy for defectors should be revamped to promote the independence and responsibility of defectors.

At the event, entitled "North Korean defectors and government policy in a transition period," she pointed out the inefficiency of past policies and proposed changes.
