Kim’s last major post was Minister of the People’s Armed Forces, but he was in command of the IV Corps when they bombarded South Korea’s Yeongpyeong island in 2010. South Korean authorities also believed Kim was linked to the sinking of the ROK's Cheonan naval vessel in the same year. © Korea Risk Group. All rights reserved. |
