S. Korean president won’t visit Russia for Victory Day

Special envoy who supports 'unofficial' inter-Korean talks to visit Moscow

SEOUL — President Park Geun-hye's special advisor will visit Moscow as a presidential envoy for the Victory Day Ceremony which North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is expected to attend, Seoul announced on Saturday.

"Yoon Sang-hyun, special advisor to the president for political affairs and a member of the National Assembly committee on Foreign Affairs and Unification, will attend the ceremony," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release on Saturday.
