MoU plans N. Korean soccer, wrestling matches

Plans also include joint UNESCO World Heritage site, focus on family reunions

The South Korean government announced plans on April 21 to hold a soccer match and Korean wrestling championship with the DPRK in celebration of the upcoming 70th anniversary of Korean independence from Japanese colonial rule.

According to a report from the Ministry of Unification (MoU) to the National Assembly, the plans are part of a South Korean government proposal including the creation of a joint ROK-DPRK event committee.
