This year may be the last chance for South Korea’s Park Geun-hye administration to achieve a breakthrough in inter-Korean relations, a Kyongnam University professor told NK News.

Even though Kim Jong Un regime enjoys stability for now, it could face a moment of cleavage among the power elite as its economy improves and this is what the South Korean government seeks to exploit, Kim Keun-sik said.
