North Korea, Russia designate 2015 as a ‘Friendship Year’

Move promises further bilateral economic, political and cultural cooperation between Moscow, Pyongyang

North Korean and Russia have declared 2015 a “Friendship Year,” according to a report from the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on March 11.

According to the article, the announcement means the two countries will look to further deepen political, economic and cultural ties.
