Large wildfire burning in the DMZ between North and South Korea

South Korean media reports fire started from the North Korean side, has spread toward Dorasan Observatory tower

A large wildfire is currently burning in one of the DMZ's forests between North and South Korea, the Yonhap News Agency reported.

The blaze started at around 1:15 p.m. near the North Korean side of the DMZ, and has spread toward Dorasan Observatory tower at Paju city, Gyeonggi-do Province.
