North Korea no longer willing to negotiate with U.S. – NDC

Statement follows alleged overtures to re-engage in diplomatic talks

North Korea’s most powerful body, the National Defense Commission (NDC), said via state media on Wednesday that North Korea is no longer willing to “sit at the negotiating table” with the United States.

The three-point statement entitled "U.S. Imperialists Will Face Final Doom" criticizes recent actions by the U.S., including efforts to increase sanctions on North Korea and pressure the country over its human rights record.
