North Korea condemns military exercises as ‘practice’ for invasion

Annual South Korean military exercises garner North Korean response

North Korean state media has condemned ongoing large-scale military exercises by South Korea as practice for an invasion of the country.

South Korea’s Hoguk military drills, which began on Monday and are set to continue until November 21, involve more than 330,000 personnel from all branches of the South Korean military. The exercises are the largest of their kind since 1996.
