North Korea published a 50,000 word report on Sunday, detailing its own account of the human rights situation within the country and disputing repeated allegations of widespread abuses.
The report, which was written by the DPRK Association for Human Rights Studies, was commissioned "to help the public properly know about the efforts exerted by the DPRK to protect and promote human rights" according to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
