Pyongyang will not engage in talks with Washington about the fate of three Americans currently detained in North Korea, U.S. special representative for North Korean policy Glyn Davies said in Beijing on Monday.
Davies, who had been in China for meetings with Beijing's special representative for Korean Peninsula Affairs Wu Dawei, told reporters that North Korea was using the prisoners as political pawns and was not prepared to discuss the issue further.
