Pyongyang’s taxi fleets are continuing to expand and develop, with multiple sources reporting on the emergence of new cars and features being added to existing fleets.
Japan based pro-DPRK newspaper Choson Sinbo reported that the previously unknown North Korean Taedonggang Transportation company have added built in meters, credit card payment capabilities and a “quick and accurate” dial-a-cab service to its 400 strong taxi fleet.
