North Korea on Sunday confirmed participation in the upcoming Asian Games in Incheon, despite the North’s earlier threats of a boycott.
On Friday the North had threatened to review its decision to participate the day after negotiations broke down. The North said that, during the negotiation session Thursday at a border village, the South had objected to the number of athletes Pyongyang suggested sending, as well as the use of large national flags.
