Famous Japanese pro wrestler and Japanese Diet member Antonio Inoki’s planned North Korea performance is still on for late August, and now Inoki has set a date and pledged about 20 participants.
Inoki, 71, is a member of the House of Councilors, the Diet’s upper house, and had a legendary career in pro wrestling from the 1960s to the 1990s. In the U.S. he is perhaps best known for fighting Muhammad Ali to a draw in a mixed rules fight in 1976.
