A young generation of Chinese leaders has soured on North Korea, and this can be exploited to unify the Korean Peninsula, former U.S. Ambassador to the UN John Bolton told NK News.
Bolton, well-known for his outspoken foreign policy positions, said that the Obama administration has done nothing to further the cause of Korean reunification or to address the North Korean threat. Interestingly, Bolton did credit Obama for not making a deal with the North, unlike former President George W. Bush, under whom Bolton served as UN ambassador in 2005-2006.
