The South Korean navy seized a North Korean fishing boat that strayed into its waters in the West Sea on Thursday, as tensions between the two continued to rise.
South Korea officials said that the North Korean boat crossed into the South Korean territory on Thursday, the day after North Korea test-fired two medium-range ballistic missiles off its east coast. North Korea does not recognize the Northern Limit Line, and this area has been the scene of numerous incidents in the past.
