News Family reunions postponed by North KoreaAdvanced age of applicants for reunions creates sense of urgency UPDATE: On Saturday North Korea indefinitely postponed the family reunion meeting, suggesting that South Korea had poisoned the environment for dialogue. The North's Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea said: "The reunions of separated families and relatives between the North and the South will be postponed until there can be a normal atmosphere where dialogue and negotiations can be held."
