Koreans around the world celebrated their Thanksgiving holiday this week. North Koreans had the addition of honoring the anniversary of the death of Kim Jong Il's mother. Needless to say, the visiting of grave sites to honor ancestors or deceased veterans as well as the presentation of flowers was a particularly prominent theme in this week's domestic news. One other interesting development was the mention of a DPRK delegation's visit to China and a curious export ban on over 200 goods to North Korea from China soon thereafter.
