North Korea’s ‘European Envoy’ Connected To Undercover BBC Journalism

Well known regime supporter unwittingly involved in facilitating BBC 'undercover' North Korea broadcast

LONDON - The Spanish founder and president of the Korea Friendship Association, Alejandro Cao de Benós de Les y Pérez, was connected to a BBC journalist's undercover entry into North Korea.

Mr. Cao's organization helped journalist John Sweeney visit North Korea on an eight day tour which was subsequently used to create the documentary, "North Korea Undercover'. The documentary aired Monday on BBC's Panorama, showing an unauthorized portrayal of life inside North Korea, secretly filmed during an official KFA visit.
