Journalists cannot cover N.Korean border crossing event at Panmunjom

Media coverage of WomenCrossDMZ would legitimize crossing at Panmunjom, MoU official tells Yonhap

The South Korean government announced today it will not allow journalists to cover the WomenCrossDMZ event on May 24, should it occur at Panmunjom.

The proposed location of the crossing has caused some controversy, with Seoul’s Ministry of Unification (MoU) recommending the group cross near the inter-Korean industrial complex at Kaesong.
