North Korean state broadcaster Korea Central Television (KCTV) appears to have broadcast its first ever high definition (HD) video material – including vintage shots of Kim Jong Il – multiple clips uploaded to YouTube show.
Seven clips uploaded to a channel using the state broadcaster's name appeared in HD quality during the second half of February, with the first video uploaded on Kim Jong Il's February 16 birthday, YouTube statistics indicate.
