Russian oil keeps flowing to North Korea in the New Year

Supplies from Russia's far-east appear relatively constant since August, crude oil tanker still loading in China

Shipments of oil products continued to flow from the Russian far-east terminals into North Korea over the New Year, analysis of data from Marine Traffic shows.

In August 2014, NK News reported that deliveries of oil from Russia were higher than many North Korea watchers assumed, with the DPRK dedicating the majority of its tanker fleet to these eastern routes.
